Blackjack Online Casinos

I love blackjack. It's a terrible thing to admit, but I could spend hours and hours in casinos playing the game; I have, I've played it in some of the best casinos in the world and had a great time. I grant you it might not be a spectator sport, but hell, I enjoyed it.

I also play online and this site: Blackjack Online Casinos, is a place I wish I'd seen a few years ago. It's a great list of online gambling sites and, more importantly, gives you a large choice of sites and a handy prompt list to help you chose the sort of table you want to play at; single deck, multi-deck, does the dealer stand on 17?

As a player that's a handy thing to know before you sit down. It also tells you how much you can be expected to win for every game; what's the percentage loss and the like, what's the best sort of table to play for your game.

Ok, the site isn't the greatest laid out I've ever seen and it could be a bit clearer for the beginner, but if you know what you're doing and you want no frills stats, information and links, it's certainly a good place to look.

Casino accepting US Players

Are you a US gambler who wants to play casino games in the comfort of your own home? Good, the this site: Casino accepting US Players will give you lots of handy links that will let you gamble in international online casinos that will accept your money and let you play.

This is a handy little site that reviews and provides links to loads of places to have a flutter, without having to go to Las Vegas or somewhere in Europe.

The site will tell you where to go, how to gamble and, even more importantly, gives you cash bonuses to sign up. I can't offer much in the way of a review as, at the moment there's not a lot on it, but it's a site that has the potential to help US gamblers get what they want in one easy to use place.

Actually, to be honest, there's nothing on this site yet, there's not even links available to any of the (two) sites that it suggests that you could use. I don't know, maybe come back in 6 months? Handily it tells you about gambling, but you can get that pretty much anywhere. My advice? If you're a US gambler who wants a go on a roulette table and this is the only site you can find? Go to Vegas.

So, Online Slot Machines RVM you say? Ok. Are you one of the many people that go to Las Vegas and feed dollar after dollar into the machines? You are? In that case, want to spend some time doing the same in the comfort of your own home?

This site is a review and linking site that will provide you with links to all the slot machine sites on the internet. It offers comment on the payout percentage, the number of games, their own handy rating system and even more handily, an easy way to see who's giving out the best signing on bonuses.

I don't really know what to say about the site. It's simple, clean and pretty obvious what you need to do, so if you're a slot machine addict, why not start here? To be honest, to me, it looks like a cheaply knocked up advert and way to make a few cents in click-through revenue; the copy at the bottom is just lifted from Wikipedia and if I'm any judge of these things it's a Wordpress template.

Still, if you want to gamble and want a site to recommend where to gamble, it certainly offers that. I've no idea what RVM stands for though.

godaddy hosting

In the 21st Century it's fair to say that you need a presence on the internet; if you want to show your family movies, set up your own home business or try your hand at making a few quid, then you need to get on the internet and tell the world.

But where do you start? Well, you're going to need a domain name and hosting. These shouldn't be scary things and you can find lots of help around the net to get you going, and godaddy hosting is a great place to start.

Want to get some ideas for how to set up your page and get it out there? This nice little site provides loads of useful information and reviews for sites, ways to set up your page and really nice little methods to get yourself out there.

For me, one of the handiest things was the reviews of Wordpress designs, tools and themes - don't worry, this will all make sense once you get on there! - that are a massive boon to the amateur web designer; and if you haven't got anyone to ask those "stupid" questions that a new web user will always have and it always seems that everyone else knows, this is a great place to look.

And remember, there are no stupid questions, we all had to start somewhere!

Web Hosting Sites

If you're new to the internet and want to find somewhere quickly, reliably and easily to get hosting for your new site, this is a handy place to go; web hosting sites provides you with a great list of the top sites that can host your internet profile, business site or handy little place to put your family photos.

If you're going to go along the route of setting yourself up and know what there is to know about design, you need a reliable service to help you choose the best service for you. This site offers reviews, links and information that can help you make the best choice for you. If you want to make an informed choise, you can do worse than looking here first.

The site is easy to use and offers you everything you need to know. For me the best bit was the reviews of specialised hosts out there; they're always a pain to hunt down and when you do find them, it's very hard to decide which is best. If you're not in a position to get word of mouth recommendations and you want a dedicated host for a site that is bringing in huge amounts of traffic, or you want the simple and cheap option of a basic host for two pages, this is a good place to start.

If you're after a web host, then this could be a pretty good place to start. Providing a selection of the top hosting sites, WPdesigner lets you compare and contrast what you need in a web host; be it price, disk space available, reliability or whether you get a free domain name thrown in with your order.

I've used a few hosts over the years and most of my decisions have been based on word of mouth recommendations from friends, colleagues and vague acquantainces; which works well for me as most of them are pretty reliable, but if you're unsure where to start looking, this is quite a hanyd litle site to go to for background.

The site itself is nice and clear, it gives you the information you'll need to make an educated decision on your hosting package and it also has lots of handy links for those other bits that you don't know you'll need until you've started tinkering with your internet life: Wordpress themes, a bit of CSS, handy little guides to e-commerce and an actually pretty handy "how to" guide to choosing a web designer.

There's actually a pretty good 'tips' page as well that's given me a couple of ideas for how to handle the next projects that come along; a pleasant surprise to someone as old and battered in webmonkeying as I am!

Well, this is an interesting one. Would you like to receive Adult TV like Apple TV? I'll be honest, I had to look up what that meant, but I'm rather taken by the idea now.

This site then offers you the ability to buy a bit of equipment that will let you stream adult tv (let's be honest, it's pornography) direct from the internet your television. Personally I think this is a great idea; well, the direct streaming to your TV is, I'm not sure I'd want to advertise my proclivities for pornography by having a little set top box in the corner of my room, but the actually technology is great: a little box that talks to your home wi-fi and lets you subscribe to television channels without all that messing about with PVRs and videos and satellite/cable services.

The actual site is a bit flash-heavy for my liking, I know that most people have broadband these days and, if you want to use the services provided, then you're gonig to need pretty hefty broadband - but it's just a bit clunky, even though there's only a few 'moving parts' to work through.

That said, there seems to be a massive choice of "adult" tv available to a service user. I just wonder whether it's worth paying $9.99 for 100 minutes of film, I guess one cent per minute of entertainment isn't too bad, but most people with home broadband will be able to download all the entertainment they'd need surely? Of course, I'm not advocating illegally getting hold of this stuff, it's just a thought.

N2News

In the 21st century watching TV has never been easier and you've never had such a wide choice of channels; there's over 3500 of them out there, for free.

N2News is a website that tells you all you need to know about Free to Air TV channels and can sell you all the technological bits you need to watch what you want when you want. If you want to see every bit of free to air TV then this is the place to go to find out how to do it and what you need to watch the thousands of available channels.

From setting up your satellite dish, to plugging in your free to air dongle and sitting down and watching, N2News is the wise to go to. It looks pretty easy to use - even though I'm in the UK and can't get a lot of the services, for my American chums out there the choice has never been better. Or cheaper!

The site offers a useful FAQ and blog section to help you decide what's best for you and get you on the road to free to air TV. It looks pretty simple and clean, it's got a load of information on and the people running it seem to be above board and trustworthy.

New York Sightseeing

I think I've said recently that I've been thinking about going to New York recently and that still stands. I would love to go, it's just a matter of sorting out when and where to go and how much to pay. That and, of course, because I'm just some English bloke, all I know about New York is what I've seen on TV and in the movies, so I've no idea what I'd do when I got there, or where I'd go.

Handily this site has a great list of things to do on a New York sightseeing trip and is a good little place to start looking for guided tours and things to do. For an orgrnised New York sightseeing tour there are plenty of options for bus journeys round the city which take in all the major sights and things you'd want to see, and as a simple site to give you ideas, it certainly looks quite handy.

As well as the usual bus tour things, the site provides lots of vouchers to save a bit of money on visits to the Statue of Liberty and Empire State Bulding and all the places you've seen on CSI:NY and price-wise, the tours seem to be very good value; from as little as $34 you can get a great tour of the city with a guide that knows what's what and where to go.

If and when I get round to going, I'm going to look into a tour like this, they're usually very good.

Newark Airport Transportation

I've been planning to go to New York for a while now, I missed the fantastic pound to dollar exchange rates we had last year but that's not putting me off. Now it's just a choice of when to go. I quite fancy winter so it's all snowy and a bit CSI:NY!

Anyway, as a cheapskate I've been researching flights from the UK to New york and, quite often it seems, the cheaper flights are to Newark airport rather than JFK, so I've been looking into getting to the city from the airport and back.

Conveniently this site provides reasonably priced and (hopefully!) reliable Newark Airport transportation; including shuttle services and car hire from as little as $13 and that's got to be good news. Airport shuttles are always cheaper than taxis and are often far more convenient. Sure, you may have to share a bus with other people, but as a pick-up and drop-off service, they

normally provide a better value service than just hailing or ordering a cab.

The site itself is clear, easy to use and understand and seems to be reliable in terms of bookings. I've had a hunt around and haven't heard anything overly bad, so I guess they're pretty good to use; indeed, if I do fly to Newark, I'll give them a go!
